What parents have to say...

Practicing yoga with Maya has given my kids the tools to self-regulate. They have learned how to pay attention to their bodies, as well as the power of deep breathing to help regulate big emotions. Most of all, they have fun, while learning valuable skills! I highly recommend Maya's Little Yogis.

Alicia

Ellis is so excited about each new pose he knows, and he teaches them to all of us. He is learning new strategies for coping with anger and frustration - "I learned this in Yoga - it's my peaceful place" Maya is a special master with Yoga and with children -the way she teaches encourages their imaginations and their bodies, developing real world skills that children really need. She is the best!

About Me

Hello! I am Maya Lambert. I am so happy you found your way to my site. Let me introduce myself… I fell in love with yoga about 5 years ago at a time when my mind and my body were significantly disconnected. Yoga brought me back into awareness of and alignment with my mental and physical needs. I am now a 200hr Certified Yoga Teacher. I have 10+ years’ experience working with children in many capacities, from ages 1 to 12, with diverse needs. I have 2 children of my own. I am passionate about incorporating movement, mindfulness, and our natural environment into my daily life and into the lives of those in my communities, especially children, to build a foundation of wellness. If this sounds like something you would like to be involved with, feel free to reach out. I look forward to meeting you!
